Acne is a skin condition suffered by millions of people all over the world. Lots of the over the counter acne remedies contain the ingredient benzoyl peroxide. This is a very effective at treating acne belmishes and it can also help to prevent the return of acne. Most acne can be contained by using remedies that contain benzoyl peroxide, but its overall effectiveness will depend on your skin type. Everyone’s skin will react completely differently to different remedies. A remedy that is fantastic for one person, might not reduce the pimples of someone else at all.

Which ever product you decide to use, it is important to be both patient and persistent. Don’t be put off if you do not see results immediately. Sometimes it may take three or four weeks for you to discern any chnage to your spots and blemishes.
